I’m sure we’ve all had enough of this cold weather so here’s a sunny LO to help warm us up!

For this design I used the Fiskars Boundary Water Border Punch, Paper Trimmer  and a Circle cutter.

Take a photo measuring 4.5″ x 3″ & glue this to the background cardstock, 3.5″ from the top & 1″ from the right edge.
Using the Shape Cutter cut an outline 3″ diameter and a solid circle 2.25″ diameter
Glue the solid circle partially behind the photo as shown.
Cut a piece of patterned paper 10.5″ x 2.5″ & glue this below the photo.
Glue the outline circle around the solid circle and over the patterned paper, tucking part of it under the photo - or you could trim this part away.
Using the Boundary Water Punch cut two 11″ borders, in 2 colours of plain paper -one dark and one light.
Glue the lighter border over the dark one, so that the dark colour shows through behind the light one.
Add this to the lower edge of the patterned paper.
Add a thin border of contrasting paper below this.
Cut a strip of printed acetate overlay (I used Hambly or you could use another patterned paper here) 10.5″ x 1″ & glue it below the thin strip. (I use Glossy Accents to glue acetate as it doesn’t show through).
Using the Circle Cutter, cut 3 circles ranging from 1″ to 2″ in diameter & glue these around the 2 large circles.
Add some small epoxy circles or brads.
Add the title and a die cut shape below the photo to the right.
Make a corner from the contrasting paper & glue to the top right of the photo.
Add the journaling to the solid circle.

Love the way you did the overlapping layers of waves. A great reminder of what we might get in a few months time when this snow disappears.

Gorgeous, I love the overlayed waves. I plan to lift your woodgrain idea for waves.
It’s lovely to see a beach LO, the beach is my favourite place to be:)
