Tracie

Hi there,

This week I have made a cute little card using the circle templates for the Shape cutter plus

you will need:
Shapecutter plus and mat
Super Circles Template
Medium Circle Squeeze Punch
Plain coloured card
green/blue patterned paper
Stamped image.. I used a free stamp from this months Papercraft Essentials magazine
Some doodle dewdrops
black pen

I wanted to create a scalloped card front but I didn’t have a scallop cutter the size I needed so , I started by cutting 3 large circles for my base and 16 small circles. I then run a line of glue round the back of one of my large circles and added the small ones around the edge to make a scalloped border. I did this by eye and they matched pretty well.

Little tip: if you slightly space the ones at the bottom of the card a little further apart than the others it will stand up by itself.

Once I had arranged the circles, I glued another large circle over to hide where they were glued. To make my card open and stand better I folded a small square of card into a W shape and glued at the top of my card and to the remaining large circle to make the opening.

I then cut 1 slightly smaller square in white, and then a even smaller one in blue and green papers. I cut the green paper in half and stuck to the blue one to make a rough landscape.

I stamped the tree onto green patterned paper and brown card and paper pieced it, then added doodle dewdrops for apples to make my central embellishment.

Once I had mounted it all together I added doodles round the edges, and on the papers in black pen to add a cute feel to it.

I hope you like it!
