Scrapbook Layout

Products used:

I used papers from Crate Paper Emma Collection. I am a sucker for florals so this LO just fell into place for me.

Scrapbook layout

1. I took a 12×12 sheet of white cardstock and cut a 9″ x 9″ square.
2. Using Fiskars Scalloped Sentiment Border Punch, I punched 4 strips white cardstock 9″ x 1″, and using DST glued them down under the 9″ square to form a scallop border.

Scrapbook Layout

3. Using DST I stuck the scalloped 9″ square onto the yellow cardstock right in the middle but as I am terribly frugal I gutted the back of the paper so I could use the yellow later in the LO.
4. I cut 9 squares of different patterned papers a little under 3″ x 3″ as they all need to fit in place with a little white border and stuck lightly in place with DST to the white square.
5. Using a sewing machine I sewed the squares in place using a zig zag stitch.

Scrapbook Layout

6. I trimmed my 3 photos of the girls to fit the squares and using different border punches I punched small borders to add to one side of the photos, I used Fiskars Bracket Border Punch, Scalloped Sentiment and Apron Lace. Some small pearls added also.
7. I added a title to one of the squares – and some gems too!
8. I punched 3 flowers using my Fiskars Flower Squeeze Punch and used some brads as centres and some random leaves as decoration.

Scrapbook Layout

9. I had some lovely Prima flowers and leaves in the kit and stuck them using Glossy Accents to the corner square.
10. The LO did not look right, so I grabbed my Fiskars Heart Squeeze Punch and punched out 9 hearts and back to the sewing machine and sewed them into a bunting by overlapping them slightly to hold them in place. I added foam dots to the back and set them on the LO.

I hope you will have a go at this LO and post the results as I would love to see them.
