Fathers Day Gift…
by Clareby Caroline
Fathers Day means chocolate and this gift is a whole 1kg bar of Cadburys Dairy Milk Chocolate. I really have never seen a bigger bar of chocolate! To give you an idea how big it is, it measures approx. 16.5″ x 6.75″ – and I had to buy one for myself too – wonder how long that will last, hehe.
I wanted it to match the card I showed you on Monday and so used the same paper line – Blonde Moments, Friends Junction.
I wrapped the chocolate bar in crepe paper – which is great for wrapping as it stretches and comes in large sheets of lovely bright colours.
Using the Border Punch – Slits, I created the slits on two sides of the paper and on the other two sides I used a favourite of mine – the Hand Hole Punch – to create simple decoration on the paper.
Using acrylic paint I stamped ‘DAD’ on the papers and added stars from the same range of paper.
I then threaded ribbon through and the gift is ready for Sunday…
