Fathers Day Gift…

Father Day Gift1

Fathers Day means chocolate and this gift is a whole 1kg bar of Cadburys Dairy Milk Chocolate.  I really have never seen a bigger bar of chocolate!  To give you an idea how big it is, it measures approx. 16.5″ x 6.75″ - and I had to buy one for myself too - wonder how long that will last, hehe.

Father Day gift2

I wanted it to match the card I showed you on Monday and so used the same paper line - Blonde Moments, Friends Junction.

I wrapped the chocolate bar in crepe paper - which is great for wrapping as it stretches and comes in large sheets of lovely bright colours.

Father Day gift3

Using the Border Punch - Slits, I created the slits on two sides of the paper and on the other two sides I used a favourite of mine - the Hand Hole Punch - to create simple decoration on the paper.

Father Day gift4

Using acrylic paint I stamped ‘DAD’ on the papers and added stars from the same range of paper.

Father Day gift6

I then threaded ribbon through and the gift is ready for Sunday… :-)
