For this LO I used the Fiskars ShapeCutter Plus and the new Fiskars Template-Journal Plates.
I thought the Shape Cutter would be tricky to use but in fact, it’s really easy! A good tip is to hold the paper in place with some low-tack masking tape.

Crop a photo to 5″ x 3.5″ & glue to the base cardstock approximately 3.5″ from the top & 1.5″ from the left edge.
Add a piece of patterned paper, 3″ x 6″, below the photo
Add a thin strip of torn or punched paper along the left edge of the photo & patterned paper.
Set 2 eyelets in the base cardstock: The top one is 1″ from the top and the lower one is 0.5″ from the lower edge. Both are 1.5″ in from the left edge. Run a double length of thin cord through the eyelets, securing them with tape at the back.

Using the ShapeCutter, cut a journalling shape and add the title to it using rub-ons or any other letters. Using a white opaque pen draw some fake stitches around the edge.
For the circle shape at the right of the photo I used a rub-on but this can easily be done by making a paper circle using the Fiskars ShapeCutter. The diameter is 2.75″.
Glue the journal shape over the circle and allow it to overlap the lower right corner of the photo. Add a brad at either side.
Add some die cut embellishments randomly around the title shape and highlight some with sparkly brads.
Add another strip of paper along the lower edge, this can also have a punched edge or you could use Fiskars Pinking Shears.
Finally, add a metal embellishment at the lower left corner over the cord.

Lovely as always Giselle – those journalling shapes look fab, must onvestogate as I’m really into my shapecutter at the moment – like you say, it’s so easy to use.
