Hi Everyone…
I don’t know about you but every Christmas I struggle with present ideas for family members so this year I’ve bought gift cards from their favourite stores and made gift card holders-easy peasy with your Fiskars tools…each one could be personalised for the recipient by adding their name. Hope you are keeping warm in the wintry weather that has arrived in the UK.
Instructions
Step 1 Use Shapecutter and Template to creat the envelope, score and fold as required.
Step 2 Prick around the edge of the envelope and use opague white pen to create faux stitching. Go round the edges with the glue pen and sprinkle with glitter.
Step 3 Fix seam binding across the front of the envelope flap with double sided tape.
Step 4 Punch borders from white paper using Christmas Trees and Lace Border Punches, fix above and below the seam binding with double sided tape. Highlight the Christmas Trees with the glue pen and sprinkle with glitter.
Step 5 Fix the front flap of the envelope in place with double sided tape around the side edges.
Step 6 Punch snowflakes using Lever Punch from white paper and fix to the outside and inside of the envelope with PVA glue. Decorate with gems.
Step 7 Fix a small strip of Velcro to the envelope for a closure.
Step 8 Fix a double seam binding bow as shown
Step 9 Cut patterned paper for the gift card, mat onto white paper, prick the edges and decorate with a handwritten sentiment and snowflake embellishment
