Hi Fiskarettes it’s Kath back again with another project using the AdvantEdge Punch System and this time the Butterfly Border Cartridge and Rainbow Interchangeable Border Punch.
Can you believe that we are already half way through the first month of the year…it’s amazing how time flies and that got me thinking about making a clock for my craft room and at the same time using up crafty bits and pieces that have been gathering dust for a while.
TIME FLIES CLOCK
Instructions
Step 1 Trim chipboard to measure 6″ x 8.1/2″ and cover with patterned paper
Step 2 Cover the back of the CD with PVA glue, fix to patterned paper and trim around the edge. Mark the centre hole in the CD ready for fixing the clock movement.
Step 3 Fix the CD to the chipboard and punch a hole through both, glue the clock movement on the back of the chipboard and fit the hands in place. Decorate the clock face with the chipboard numbers.
Step 4 Fit the interchangeable adapter to the AdvantEdge Border Punch System and die cut the Rainbow Border from dark coloured paper, fix to the bottom of the chipboard.
Step 5 Using the AdvantEdge Border System and Butterfly Border Cartridge die cut borders from light and dark coloured patterned papers. Fix a section of the light coloured butterfly border to the dark Rainbow border with PVA glue.
Step 6 Cut butterflies from both borders, ink the edges with the black ink pad and fix in place with PVA glue as shown (only glueing the centre of the bodies to create a 3D effect)
Step 7 Fix chipboard alphabets to patterned papers, trim around the edge to leave a small border and fix with 3D foam tape.
Step 8 Decorate the butterfly bodies and edges of the chipboard with self adhesive pearls
Really love all your creations.
I love it!
This is wonderful x
Fabulous Kath!
