I’ve actually got round to making a Layout today. Seeing it’s so Cold and I had some new Snowflake papers this L/O sprung to mind. Instructions below…
Things you’ll need:
Fiskars XL Heart Squeeze Punch , Scissors, Trimmer, Patterned Papers, Adhesive, Alphabet Stickers or Die Cut Alphas.
Instructions:
Cut 3 x 5cm x 30cms (2″ x 12″) Strips of Pattern paper.
Punch all three strips using the Top of the Heart Squeeze Punch as in the photos below. Keep the Punchouts for later….

Snip the Scallops stripswith Scissors like in the photo below….

Glue onto Layout 7cms (3″) up from the bottom as in photo below….

Layer the other two strips on top to cover the bottom of your Layout. ***Just Glue the bottom of the strips so you can slot thngs into the top***
Mat your photos leaving a 1/2cm border of patterned paper all the way round But a bigger bit at the top ie :2.5cm (1″) Slot the two photos into the Scalloped strips (I did trim the 2nd photo a little smaller than the first but you don’t have to)
Glue the off cuts of the Heart punch on the top of your Layout you’ll use approx 6 1/2 of these.
Add a Title
Cut a small piece of plainish paper for your Journaling…Ink edges . The size depends on how much you want to write. Slot this in the scalloped strips & the layout is finished.

Love how you have used the heart punch to make such a lovely edge. The snowflak papers are beautiful too.
