Jayne – Spotty Dotty Challenge

Jayne’s L/O : Oh I love polka dots ! Even the chipboard alphas are Dotted swiss I did have some polka dot Flowers but they just didn’t go. Hope you like x

Instructions:

Keira Polka dots – Jayne loughlin

1-Firstly cover a piece of 12” cardstock with polka dot paper.

2-Cut a strip 12” x 6 1/4” .  Ink the edges, tear 2 little slits to make a worn look randomly around edge & ink these too. Glue this strip approx 1 ½” horizontally up from the bottom.

3-Cut a piece of patterned paper 12” x 3” and hand cut scallops along edges with scissors (I used fiskars Scissors they are really the best) or use a template &/or shape cutter freehand. Glue this piece central over the glued strip above. I have used a spotty edge Die cut to slot in the edges behind the patterned paper I’ve scalloped previously. You could use the wonderful scalloped lace border punch for this as it would be ideal and great to match up your spotty papers !

4-Cut a piece of Paper 6 ¾” x 5” for the photo mat, Tear smaller slits around the edges & ink . Glue a 6×4” photo central onto this mat then Glue the whole thing to the left of your L/O on the strip glued down before.

5- Cover Chipboard title with dotty cardstock, sand or file if necessary . I’ve cut a heart out of Dotty paper and inked a chipboard swirl, also the flowers didn’t match papers very well so I inked the edges of these quite well. Glue buttons to flower centres to add interest.
