Good Evening Fiskarettes!

There are so many thank you cards to make that I thought I would get as much use out of my Sentiment stamp as possible and make another! These flowers made with the Fiskars large flower squeeze punch, the flower leaver punch, and the scalloped circle squezze punch and are so easy to do!

Read on to find out exactly how to make this card…

Plus other products

  • Basic Grey Sugared Patterned Paper
  • Doodlebug Gems {lime}
  • Ranger Distress inks in Peeled Paint and Shabby Shutters and blending tool
  • Black ink
  • Kaisercraft Sentiment Stamp
  • Orange, red and cream cardstock
  • A6 white card blank
  • lace
  • black fine line pen
  • hot glue gun
  • flower shaping tool and mat

Recipe
1. Punch four large flowers and six small flowers from orange cardstock, and two scalloped circles from red cardstock. Shape the petals using the flower shaping tool and mat by rubbing over each flower in a circular motion from the centre outwards. Fix two large flowers and three small flowers together, staggering the petals as much as possible.
2. Cut a spiral into the scalloped circles, then roll the spiral inwards, starting with the scalloped edge to the centre fix into place using a hot glue gun. Add a gem to the centre of the flowers and put to one side.

3. Cover an A6 card blank with patterned paper, and draw a black fine line around the edge. Cut a scalloped lace border from cream cardstock and attach to the centre of the card. Underneath this apply lace.

4. Cut out one of the tags from the Fiskars template using the Shapecutter, and colour with the distress inks using the blending tool, starting with the lightest colour first. Add a line and dotted border around the edge.

5. Stamp the greeting in black ink to the centre and add leaf flourishes from the Fiskars clear stamp swirls set using the darker of the two green inks. Fix the panel to the centre of the card using 3D foam pads.

6. Finally attach the flowers as shown using a hot glue gun.

Hope you like it! I love making these flowers, they’re just so easy to do.

Now don’t be shy! I’d love to see your projects, so why don’t you post them here using the ‘post an article’ button in the fiskarettes menu.

love and crafty hugs, Clare x
