2010
For this weeks ‘Arches’ Challenge I have decorated a Tando chipboard Arch.
First of all I added a BasicGrey-Wisteria rub-on to the arch.
The arch is white lined already so it has a base to work on straight away. Using Fiskars Ink Pads and an ink blending tool I blended ink – Royal Blue and Violet – onto the edges of the arch and in towards the centre. I did the same to the Tando chipboard Flourish.
I added a further rub-on and glued the flourish to the arch.
Using two of the flower stamps from Fiskars Stamp Set-Spring, I stamped onto Wisteria paper and cut out, then added a pearl to the centre.
Using the Fiskars Pop-Up Punch-Butterfly, I punched out x3 butterflies from Wisteria paper and x3 from vellum. I then attached the vellum to the paper butterfly, only gluing in the centre so that the wings can stick up.
I cut out a flower from the Wisteria paper and then attached all the pieces to the arch…

Thanks to those of you kind enough to leave a comment – much appreciated….x
I must admit I love working with those arches
what glue do you use for the pearls?
I have problems with them falling off.
Hi Mabel
The pearls are self-adhesive ones from Prima.
If I do use any that aren’t self-adhesive I find that Glossy Accents is a very good glue.
Hope that helps!
