Morning I decided that I wasn’t going to use the obvious Butterfly ShapeCutter Template today, though I love it
I’ve made a Simple layout using Bright papers & stamped & punched to make this apply to the theme today.
Items used: Patterned paper, 6×4″ photo, cardstock, Fiskars flower stamp (from floral mini sheet) , Black ink, red & brown Promarkers, Fiskars Butterfly Pop up punch, Apron Lace Border Punch, Large Square Squeeze punch, Alpha stickers, Trimmer, Adhesives, Scissors.
Quick Instructions: Cut 2 strips approx 11 x 1/2″ & punch with Apron Lace border punch it really doesn’t matter if these are wider or thinner & you can always trim them or tuck them behind.
Cut a piece of cardstock 2cms wider than your photo ..Punch a few Butterflies using the Butterfly pop up punch, I used the edge of the punch to mark out where I wanted to punch the next & the next. Keep the Butterflies you’ve punched out too ! Glue the photo onto the cards right side.
Cut 3 random blocks of patterned paper mine are approx (orange)2″ x 10″ , Turquoise dots 3″ x 2″ , Butterfly piece 6″ x 5″
Take the Orange sized piece and Stamp flowers randomly over the patterned paper. Colour these in with Promarkers. See close up image below..

Arrange the above blocks of papers as shown in the layout onto a 12″ x 12″ background piece of card or patterned paper overlapping the pieces if liked. Frame the right vertical & bottom edge with the strips you punched previously (trim these if liked) Glue down when happy with the placement of the pieces.
Glue the photo on top of above pieces.
Cut 1cm strips of card for Journaling strips, Ink & trim then glue when happy with Journaling.
Randomly glue Butterflies onto the stamped piece & the little punched square.
Stick Title onto a piece of card Trim round straight with a Trimmer or Scissors. Ink edges.
Punch a Square using Square Squeeze punch (I’ve inked edges. This punch is ideal for choosing a pattern in your paper & punching it out central as you can see exactly what you are punching.
Hope you like xxxx
Have fun with this challenge …I did
