I have made a Christmas card today.  I was a little scared when I saw what the Challenge was this week but as all good challenges do .. it takes you out of your box ! I do apologise the photo was taken at night with a flash !

Items used: Trimmer, XL Circle Squeeze Punch, Eyelet Setter, Scissors, A large Brad, Ribbon, Patterned paper, Blank card, light grey promarker, Adhesive, Sentiment.

Directions: 1* Cut a background piece from patterned paper but don’t adhere to your Card blank yet.

2* Cut a Square of patterned paper approx 3″ x 3″ and mat it by gluing onto a piece of card or paper and trimming around using your Trimmer or Scissors, Cut just a tiny bit bigger than orginal 3″ Square.

3* Punch Two XL Circles using the Squeeze punch, One out of Brown & one out of White card. Take the White Circle and cut in a wavy line to form drippy icing. You can draw a shape and then cut out if you aren’t feeling confident cutting freehand. Glue the white piece onto of the brown piece to form your pudding. Glue onto the matted Square.

4* Shade the icing with a Promarker & add dots for fruit.

5* Punch an eyelet in the top of the pudding and add a Brad, Cut two pieces of Holly & glue behind the Brad.

6* Glue the Ribbon straight across the middle of the Piece of paper you cut in step 1, Tuck the ribbon behind. Glue this background piece with the ribbon across onto the front of your Blank card.

7* Glue the matted square that the Pudding is on to the front of the card on top of the Ribbon. Add a Sentiment.

Lovely card, will you be making your own this year? I suppose organised people will have started already.
