Morning Fiskarettes, I rather enjoyed this challenge and found a old kit that had lots of brown papers in. I added brown buttons and some Tim Holtz tape used lots of ink though couldn’t find the Dark ink so used a lighter brown. Hope you like x
Tools & products needed: 12″ Unwanted Vinyl Record, 6×4″ photo, Brown cardstock, Cream cardstock scrap, Script or music paper, 2 sheets of Brown patterned paper (one sheet should be a little less busy so you can ink on it(lined would be ideal)) Fiskars ‘Hearts’ Border punch, Fiskars Scissors, Scalloped Circle Squeeze punch,Buttons. Pencil, Scissors, Assortment of brown inks, Sticker or Die Alphas, Sticky backed Ribbon or decorative tape, Sequined waste various sized, Journal pen, light brown promarker, Trimmer
Instructions: First you need to cut your patterned paper into a large scalloped circle shape. I’ve drawn around the Record and cut inside the circle scalloping all the way around freehand, You could draw the scallops to follow with pencil, I used Scissors this time to cut this but the Shape Cutter plus and mat is really easy to use to do this sort of thing too.Do the same with the next circle.

Next I took my Sequined waste & dabbed around the edge of the larger circle with Ink over the top of the Sequinned waste, Layering different sizes ontop and different coloured inks. Ink the edges and I also added dots with a pen around the scalloped edge.
Ink the smaller circles edges and then glue onto the middle of the larger circle. I’ve doodled dashes to make a sewn effect edge around the smallest circles edges for interest.
Cut a 12cm x 6cm piece of script paper rip the edges if liked.
Cut a double mat for your photo cutting a cream piece of card 1cm wider and taller than your photo and then cut a D.Brown piece of cardstock 1.5 cms wider and taller than the photo, Glue these together with photo on the top and largest piece at the back.
Cut a strip of cardstock about 2.5cms by 11cms and punch with the Hearts border punch.
Next punch a Scalloped Circle using the Squeeze punch , Draw a Scroll shape with pencil and cut out when happy with the shape onto Dark brown cardstock.
Now arange all the pieces and start gluing down, The 2 Scalloped circles are glued onto the Record, then the matted photo is next but just don’t glue right to the edges so you can tuck the strips behind the photo mat.
The Script and punched border is placed just behind the photo mat(see above photo for placement option) Glue the decorative tape or ribbon along the bottom of the photo mat.

Add the scroll over lapping the photo if wished, I’ve doodled sewing along the edges of the scroll.
Add a scalloped circle you punched previously to the photos top right facing corner, a little more tape and a button glued on top. Add a few buttons to the top left corner side of the photo in a random wedge shape.
Add a title & Journalling. A little off cut of the border punched brown cardstock was added as a tab to the left facing side of the photo. A date in the scalloped circle and some doodling and I think that’s it
