This weeks challenge is to decorate some chipboard and I did some heat embossing with UTEE  on a chipboard heart…

Products used:

How to:

  • Trim a piece of white card to fit the card blank.
  • Using the Texture Plate emboss the card and attach to the card blank.  I sewed it into place.   Its a little difficult to see in the photo but I used a flowery Texture Plate.
  • Sew the ribbon across the card, pleating as you go.  Cut the ends with sharp Scissors so they slightly overlap the card.

  • Heat emboss the chipboard heart with UTEE.  As the heart was white lined chipboard I only needed to apply one coat of a pearlescent clear powder.
  • Attach this to the card.  Add the flower.
  • Punch out the little butterfly with the Lever Punch using white vellum and stick to the heart.  Add a little black gem to the middle of the butterfly.
  • Add rub-ons.  The black swirls and yellow sunburst at the side of the heart are rub-ons.

Enjoy the challenge!
