I love Embossing!  Whether that be dry embossing or heat embossing I just love the effect it gives.

I made this tag with a view of getting some bits and pieces ready for Christmas (not that far off now you know, eeek!).

I used the ShapeCutter and Rectangle Template to create the tag from plain white cardstock, although using a Paper Trimmer to cut a rectangle will do just as well of course. :)

I then used the ShapeBoss and Winter Template to emboss the snowman and snowflakes. I love the versatility of the ShapeBoss and the templates as you can emboss anywhere on your project.

I used Copic pens to highlight certain areas of the snowman and then added chalk to give it more softness.  I inked around the edges in blue, and highlighted some of the snowflakes at the same time. I added Pearls into the centre of some of the snowflakes.

Using the Eyelet Setter I made a hole at the top of the tag and set a snowflake eyelet.  I added some pom pom trim and threaded some organza ribbon through the eyelet.  The ‘To’ and ‘From’ sentiment is stamped.

Quite enjoyed doing a Christmas project again – lets hope I can be more organised with my Christmas crafting this year!

Look forward to seeing your take on our challenge……. :)
