2010
Rather than using a backing paper on this card I used up some scraps – which is something we all like to do, isn’t it! And I am sure you are like me in that you have loads of little pieces of paper that you can’t bare to throw away. Well using your punches is a great way to use some of them up!
I used these four Fiskars Border Punches:
Apron Lace, Effervescence, Lace and Flowers
* * * * * *
First of all though I stamped the heart and little flowers and coloured them with Copics. Then cut them out with very handy Fiskars scissors!
* * * * * *
Then I found some paper scraps to match the colours in the heart and cut four borders – all different lengths.
* * * * * *
I then sewed each border onto a card blank overlapping each one on top of the other.
* * * * * *
I then added the stamped heart and flowers, buttons, pearls and crystals and the little chipboard frame – which was coloured in a pink ink.

Hope you all have a lovely Mothers Day this weekend……
