Red White card

Our Monday Challenge this week is Red and White – with all the Footie Widows in mind!

I used the stamp from this months Craft Stamper for this card.  I stamped with Fiskars gorgeous Ruby Red Ink, and stamped the image twice.  I then cut out the individual petals from one of the images.  I then layered these on top of the other image, using different sized foam pads, to give a slight 3D effect.  I then added a black pearl into the centre of the flower.

Using the Border Punch-Scalloped Lace, I added a border to one side of some white card and layered this onto some red card.  I sewed them together.  I then added a double ribbon – organza and gingham – and tied into a bow and adhered to a card blank.  I added the flower into the centre of the layered card, and three black pearls top right.

The red dots across the bottom and the sentiment – ‘wishes do come true’ are rub-ons…

Love the way you used the petals to raise the flower up – I thought I recognised the flower as I got CS on Saturday x
