snow

Todays Challenge is to create a project showing ‘Snow’…..

I decided to make the most of this challenge to create a layout using a couple of photos of Sam, our border collie, who loved the snow!  He would jump through it flicking it about with his nose, bless… :)

I used:  Fiskars ShapeCutter, Fiskars Template-Doodles, Fiskars Scissors-Deckle, Websters Pages papers, Fancy Pants Christmas Magic rub-ons, Fancy Pants journalling label, Melissa Frances glittery heart, Heidi Swapp chipboard letters.

I inked the edges of the green paper and sewed onto the cardstock.  The photos were sewn onto kraft paper which had been cut using the Deckle Scissors.  These are brilliant to use if you want to create a more distressed edge to your paper, or you can use the Deckle Tear Edger to create the same effect if you have a larger piece of paper to edge..

flourish template

Using the ShapeCutter and Template I cut out a flourish from glittered cardstock.  The ShapeCutter didn’t cut all the way through, as the card was quite thick, but it gave a good score line which I was able to finish cutting with scissors.

I added all the embellishments to the layout and then filled in spaces using rub-ons.

Hope you enjoy the challenge and look forward to seeing what you do!

Lovely LO Caroline, all the distressing looks great. I just couldn’t get on with the shape cutter, and gave it away in the end, but you’ve obviously got the knack!
