Morning again Fiskarettes, Todays challenge is a nice easy one and I’m sure you all will have at least one Punch in a drawer somewhere. If not you have to try out these fabulous punches in the Fiskars range they are my absolute favourite types of Punches the Squeeze punch (even my 4 yr old daughter can use them) and the Border Punches…. I have created another L/O this week using a few types xx

Tools needed: 6×4″ photo, Cardstock & patterned papers, Approx 6″ circle shape (You can use Fiskars shape cutter & Circle template circles) Fiskars Sunburst border Punch, L.Heart squeeze punch, XL Flower Squeeze punch,L Scalloped circle Squeeze punch, brown ink, scissors, Trimmer, pen, Die cut alphabet or stickers ect.

Instructions: First you need to cut a 6″ Circle (I’ve used blue P.P)  then cut free hand inside this circle with scissors, or use the templates & shape cutter for a cleaner cut. I’ve snipped a section off as you really only need a semi circle. Ink the edges and glue to the L/O. I’ve Punched 6 hearts using the Fiskars heart Squeeze Punch and lay 5 of these on my L/O around the Circle as in the photo below. NOTE I haven’t stuck the hearts down yet but you could do at this point.

2. Next cut a 6″ x 6.5″ piece of patterned paper (mine is green) Punch the top with your Sunburst Border Punch and stick a photo onto this piece (see photo below)

3. Cut a 7″ x 1 3/4″ strip, a 8″ x 1″ strip and a  3.5″ x 2.5″ Rectangle out of different coloured papers. Punch with the Sunburst border punch along one long edge on the first two pieces and along one short edge on the 2nd piece, Ink edges

4. Glue the pieces you have cut in the last two steps as in photo below and you can glue your hearts in place too that you punched previously I haven’t done this until after the photo !!!  …

5. Punch 2 flowers and a Scalloped circle, glue the flowers together in the centre add the scalloped circle central on top & then the 6th heart you punched before. Glue the flower to the top left facing corner of your photo mat. Also cut a little triangle out of the paper you used for the big 6″ circle and ink edges place this at the end or the circle to form a arrow head.

6. Cut a few strips of paper approx 1cm wide and journal onto the strips, Trim to sizes that fit onto your L/O and ink edges if liked and stick down. Add a title to the rectangle box on your L/O and you have finished.

It’s amazing how the punch looks different on the blue and the green.
Beautiful photo, I love the way the circle pulls your eye round and back to the photo.
