My First DT Assignment
by DaisydayeDT project by Emma

Hi Fiskarettes
This is my first assignment as a member of the Fiskarettes Design Team and I have been ever so nervous but excited about it. I wasn’t sure what to do at first but then the tools inspired me and I came up with something in the end.
Being a part of the Design Team means that Fiskars send you tools to use and you showcase them on your projects. I have used a couple of different tools for this card. I used the scallop flower squeeze punch to make the flowers which I then sculpted using an embossing stylus. I went round in a circular motion on one of them and scored a line and pinched it for the other one. The middle of the flowers is made from a circle punch .
I used the 2-in-1 Vines corner & border punch around the edge of the pink card. I used the punched out shapes for the border down the right hand side of my card. Then matted this onto blue card.
The top blue mat has images from the Mini Easy Stamp Press Starting Kit to go round the edge and then blended the ink. I have used a greetings stamp from my stash.
All that is left to say is that I hope you enjoy this project and I am looking forward to creating my next project.
Until next time & Happy Crafting
Emma xx

What's Hot

A really pretty card Emma…x
That’s absolutely gorgeous – I love how you’ve used the offcuts from the edge to make a new border. Great first project for the design team, Emma.
Very pretty, love the contrast between the bright pink & the white. Now you have the first assignment done, you’ll sail through the rest & I look forward to seeing your other creations
Lovely, the round the corner vines punch is my favourite. I haven’t seen the scallop flower squeeze punch before.
Like Giselle says, now you’ve done your first DT project you’ll sale through the rest.
This is lovely, and as Beadmad says once you’ve started you’ll sail through!
Another one here liking the contrast between the colours, those flowers are lovely.
Love how you have used the punches and the colour combinations
