Photo Screen:

Tools used:

Fiskars Portable Rotary Paper Trimmer

Fiskars Easy Stamp Press Starter Set

Fiskars Clear Mini Stamps – Spring

Fiskars Large Eyelet Setter

Instructions:

I had the chipboard background from a large heart which seemed a shame to waste. So I cut another slightly smaller piece of chipboard to match to make a photo screen keepsake.

I ripped up pieces of an old paper back book and applied them randomly to both chipboard pieces with a wet glue. Once dry, I washed over the covered paper with walnut ink.

To make the screen, I arranged how I wanted it to stand up before fixing a piece of masking tape to the back to secure. This can be replaced later with a piece of matching PP if you like.

I stuck a large patterned tag to the right hand screen before using my trimmer to cut a piece of PP about 3 “ wide which I glued across both screens before trimming. Once I was happy with the positioning of the PP I attached a piece of blue CS on the back of the heart.

I cut diamonds from PP and attached them across the heart, and also spreading across both screens before attaching the photo .

I stamped tree’s across the bottom of the screen to represent the “family tree” and added liquid pearls to the flower heads on the tree.

I stamped flowers onto the PP and cut them out before embellishing them with buttons and randomly scattering them around the screen.
