Hiya here’s a simple Christmas Bauble. So simple the children can join in. You could ‘Bling’ it up using glitter,Gems or perhaps glittered cardstock. It is a great way to use up your paper scraps or what about using last years Xmas cards and Recycle ! You can of course use the Shapecutter and circle Template and make larger versions. Please show me what you or the kids come up with xx

Things you’ll need: 2 Different Patterned papers, XL Circle Squeeze punch,Adhesive (Double sided tape is ideal). String, Ribbon, cord or perhaps even Wire (I’ve used Sequined string)

Instructions: Punch 4 circles from pink paper, 4 Circles from Green (colours are my examples)

Fold all of these Circles in half as shown below.

Now glue every semi circle on top of each other alternating the coloured middles. When they are all stuck down.

Glue along the long straight edge (see above). D.S Tape is good here but I used my ATG gun. Stick the thread, ribbon or what ever you are going to use to hang the baubles to the tape and then glue the final sides together. Fan out and you should have a bauble shaped decoration. I have made 2 different sizes here.

Going to try making these with my new shapecutter.

Do you think any other shapes would work?

Well Jayne, time for me to change what I planned for my next project…. on the subject of other shapes I’ve made a version with a Christmas tree shape from the Christmas 1 template. A good excuse to add bling as baubles…
