Hiya ladies,

I’ve been having troubles with my computer so that is why I have not been on here the last few days. Sorry about that. Anyway today I’m showing a layout I made & step by step instructions :)

Adhesive, Patterned paper/ card, Ink (opt)

Blossom, Lace & keys

Instructions:

1. Firstly Trim strips off your papers using a trimmer.

2. From the green patterned paper cut a rectangle approx 12cms x 8cms (small measurement is top & bottom)

3. Cut a strip from the Red polka dot paper 30.5cms (12”) x 6 ¼cms Punch with a border punch down the right facing long edge.

4. Cut the next piece from lined paper 14cms x 12cms ***MAKE SURE LINES IN PATTERN ARE HORIZONTAL***

 5. Mat your photo by cutting paper 1cm wider and taller than the photo itself…this will create a ½ cm frame all round. Glue your photo onto the mat centrally.
6. To Make the Bunting: Cut strips from your patterned papers approx 2.5cms wide. You might want to make bigger bunting this is up to you. Cut triangles using scissors out of the strips freehand. You will need approx 14 and 3 red ones 17 altogether. Ink edges if liked and put to one side

7. Ink all your pieces of paper you like this is optional.

8. Its now time to glue pieces down…. See photo above if there’s confusion of measurements/placement. Glue the green paper onto your cardstock 7.5cms from the bottom and just over 1cm from the right facing edge.

9. Glue the lined paper 3cms in from left facing edge and approx 2cms from the top.

10. Glue the red polka strip that you punched earlier so it covers both edges of the papers glued down already this is approx 8cms in from the right facing side vertically.

11. Cut a heart using scissors and ink if liked, place it onto the green paper towards the bottom and add a piece of lace that is approx 9.5cms long, glue horizontally over the heart lining up its end with the right facing edge of the green paper. The left end should be glued under the photo mat in next step.

12. Glue the matted photo 5.5cms in from the bottom and 5cms in from left facing side making sure the lace ends are tucked in ….*** PLEASE NOTE : Do not add glue right up to the edge of your photo mat then you can slot a three pieces of bunting behind when the mat is glued down.

13. Place the Bunting along the top (see photo) and when happy with placement glue them all down. Instead of gluing them flat just glue the tops of the Bunting and curl the tips a little with your fingers. They look more realistic.

14. Cut strips of paper out of the lined paper for journaling- mine are nearly 1.5cms wide. Write what you like and trim. Arrange in the bottom corner glue when happy with placement.

15. Cut a Title and add a blossom to the lace and the tiny keys  if you like. FINISHED J
