Step by Step L/O ~ By Jayne Loughlin
by Clare
Hiya Fiskarettes
I have made a quick L/O today using the Fiskars Effervescence Punch & the Owl Squeeze Punch. Circle Squeeze Punches medium & Xlarge. You don’t need stacks and stacks of stash to complete a L/O just invest in a few punches and you are well on your way.
Items needed: Owl squeeze punch, Border Punch, Circle punches, paper, photo landscape, card 12″ x 12″ , Trimmer, Adhesive, Alpha stickers, Pen.
Instructions: I’ve cut a strip of patterned paper 12″ by approx 2″ wider than your photo & Punched both the longer edges using the Fiskars Effervescence border punch.
I’ve added a piece of patterned paper the 4″ x 9″ and glued this to the piece above, 2cms in from left facing side and lied it up from the middle. Add a Patterned paper strip & glue this horizontal through the middle (this was the papers strip at the bottom) Glue the photo onto this when happy with placement.
Punch some Circles using the Squeeze Punches. The Owl actually fits on top of the XL Circle.
Punch a owl and punch overthe top using a Circle Punch lining up very carefully. Keep the off cut owl pieces and the outer pieces too as this will make two Owls.
Glue the inner Owl pieces onto a large Circle, Glue when happy with placement. I’ve drawn around the owl pieces so you can see what they look like you could ink these of leave them plain.
I’ve added some more patterned strips of paper to the top and bottom. Cut a little scrap piece of paper 2.5″ x 2″ approx and punched this at the top . Slot this into the back of the 12″ punched strip just to break up the plain part a little.
Add a Title and Journaling.
