Thank You Card by kathinwesthill

Happy New Year Fiskarettes !

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are looking forward to making lots of crafty projects in 2013. I’ll be popping on over the next few weeks to share what I’ve been making with the brand new products 2013 from Fiskars, starting off with the fabulous AdvantEdge Punch System.

Instructions

Step 1 : Trim red paper slightly smaller than the card to leave a small border.

Step 2 : Using the AdvantEdge Interchangeable Border Punch Starter Set and the Xmas Balls Border Punch, die cut border from white paper, fix in place across the centre of the mat with PVA glue and trim to fit. Cut one bauble from the excess and fix in place with 3D foam pads to create dimension.

Step 3 : Using the piercing tool, create a border around the mat, highlight with the white opague pen to create faux stitching. Fix red mat to the card with double sided tape.

Step 4 : Punch stars from white paper, decorate with gems and fix with 3D foam pads.

Step 5 : Fix alphabet stickers as shown, decorate the border with self adhesive gems and a twine bow.
