Fiskars Equipment Used:

Easy Stamp Press Starter Set
Clear Mini Stamps – Spring

Clear Stamps Mini Set - Decorative

Clear Stamps Mini Sheet – Floral

Craft Mat 23 x 30 cm A4

ShapeCutter Plus

Instructions:
Take a piece of patterned 12 x 12 paper and draw a large circle. I drew around a diner plate and cut it out free hand with the shape cutter but if you are not confident just use scissors.

Next I distressed the edge of the circle first by sanding with sand paper and then running a edge distresser along it. Again if you don’t have one of these tools, use the blade of your scissors.

Next firmly adhere the circle to the right hand side of a plain piece of 12 x 12, butting up to the edge.

Next choose a floral border stamp, 1 chose one from the decorative pack and placed it on the stamp press. Arrange the stamp in a circular motion and check its placement as you want it to stamp around the outside edge of the circled paper.

Next add your photo to the right hand side of the circle with a strip of PP to edge it. As I wanted this scene to be the focal point of the LO, I kept the rest of the LO very simple.

To add some colour and texture I made flowers from stamps. I painted white CS in the colour’s I wanted to compliment the PP’s. When the CS was dry, I stamped various flowers from the 3 stamp sets before hand cutting them out. I attached the stamped flowers using brads and added larger silk and paper flowers in a random fashion to finish it off.

To embellish the LO, I stamped random butterflies from the spring stamp set, adding printed butterfly images and edging the LO with a bright orange border made from painting sequin waste.

And there you go, using paints and stamps to make a lovely floral LO.

You can use the fiskars large circle templates & a shape cutter too to cut the circle http://www.fiskarscraft.co.uk/uk/products/view/294910/default.aspx
