Jewellery project
by ClareHello Fiskarettes. My mum has just booked me to do a stand at her garden centre, they are having a wedding fair there at the end of June ! A litttle short notice seeing I don’t usually have many Tiaras in stock making them to order.
Anyhow, here’s a necklace I have made and instructions too, x Jayne x …

You will need:med curb chain, 3 jump rings, 1 clasp , 11 Headpins, 11 round glass beads clear, 9 swarovski crystals 4mm, also: Cutters, round nose and flat nose pliers. Fiskars make these & these

First cut two pieces of chain one approx 16″(or to fit your neck) The other approx 2.5″ . Find the middle of the long piece and attach a jump ring and a end of the other piece of chain. Tighten using flat nose pliers and gripping with the round ones. add a jump ring onto each end of the long chain and one end adding the clasp too. This is the base of the necklace.
Now thread a round bead and a Swarovski bead onto a Head pin, trim the pin approx 1/4″ above the bead if too long. Now wrap the wire to form a loop, first bending the wire at a right angle then holding end in round nose pliers & looping around pliers. A good tip is to mark your round nose pliers with a marker pen so you can have the same sized loops for each pin wrapping it in the same place.

Make another 10 like above and link onto the neckalace . start at the jump ring you used to attach the small piece of chain to the large piece. Add a pair of jewelled pins then count the links adding another 2 continue until you get to end adding one beaded pin to the end. I have added a few pins around the neckalace part too for interest.

What's Hot

This is really pretty! I do admire the jewellery people make – it seems so clever but as here, when you ‘take it to pieces’ you can see how it’s made.
Oh this is gorgeous Jayne! Good luck!!! X

Can you show me how to do a button ring? xx They are fab
Oh I need to get some wire and have a go, I have loads of beads already but never tried, it looks really fiddly though
