I’m not what I call a card maker at all and I had a lot of spare scraps of paper left when I finished my Scrapbooking page on Tuesday. So I decided to scale the design down from my layout onto a card front and I think this works. Try it with your favourite Scrapbooking Layout.
You will need: Patterned paper scraps, medium heart L Squeeze punch, Eyelet setter ,alpha stickers, paper flower, stamp, stamping block and black ink (or stamp press), Pearls, glossy cardstock, card blank (i’ve used a scalloped square blank card)
Directions: First I stamped a tree onto glossy cardstock in black ink. Trim to size As my stamp was a little large I stamped with a Stamp press as my acrylic block was a little small a tiny amount of stamp lapped over the side ! The stamp press has such a big area really large stamps can be placed on it.
Cut patterned paper a little bigger than your stamped image, glue this onto the card front. glue the stamped image onto the patterned paper.
Punch 3 hearts and glue these to the right hand side.
With the eyelet setter middle size punch holes around the card scallops (if you have them or perhaps a cheese hole design punching them randomly around the edge or selected corner to add interest.
Finish off with a flower in the corner a title using small alpha stickers and Pearls !

Gorgeous card Jayne, I love that tree stamp. Great idea to use a LO to make a card.
What a great idea and for someone who struggles with cards (me!) it would be a great help to look back at scrapbook pages and scale them down. Thanks Jayne
Love that stamp!
I love that stamp too – saw it on Rainbow Poppy’s blog too – who makes it please?
(Love the LO too, BTW)
