Good morning xxxx It is windy & wet here in Bristol …Hope it’s a little better where you are :) Great weather for Crafting though as you don’t find things in the garden to do.

I’m showing you a card I’ve made for my Sister in law. She’s getting married in Prague & 40 of us are travelling there to the occaision. Anyhow back to the card I made …..

I traced around a Scalloped edged card onto patterned paper with a pencil and cut out using Scissors. Glue this to the front of your blank card.

Next a contrasting piece of paper approx 10cm thick was punched using the Effervescence border punch on both the top and bottom, I stuck this onto the card in the middle(ish) Trimmed the side edge as this was Scalloped.  Then Inked the whole edge of the card with Brown ink.

Next a smaller piece of the background paper colour was punched with Apron Lace border punch, I inked the edges & glued this centrally onto the last strip of punched paper, again this needed trimming.

The flower was made by punching 6 Scalloped Circles using the L Scalloped Circle Squeeze punch. I then cut a slit from the edge of 5 Scalloped circles into the middle of the circle and glued the edges together forming a little peaked cone.  Ink the edges but this doesn’t have to be all the way round.

Punch 2 leaves using the Fiskars XL Heart Squeeze punch.  Fold & ink these to add a litttle interest.

To make up the flower add 5 cone shaped circles to form petals glue in a flower shape only gluing the bottom where the slit is and sticking this part to the centre of the flower shape. NOTE: this doesn’t have to be perfect …flowers aren’t perfect &  the centre circle will hide things a little too :)

Next take the last Scalloped circle and add Gems or pearls randomly around it, Ink edge and glue to the centre of the petals (scallops) you glued earlier. I actuallt took the flat of my hand and pressed the whole flower to flatten it a little so it will fit in the envelope.

Slot the leaves behing the flower, Add a sentiment (I’ve used tiny Alpha stickers as I had a lot to say)
